Checkmat Orpington Jiu-Jitsu has found its new home, operating seamlessly within Amigo's Gym. This powerful collaboration brings our esteemed BJJ programme to a state-of-the-art facility, solidifying Orpington's premier destination for martial arts excellence in Kent.
At Checkmat Orpington BJJ, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and high-quality Jiu-Jitsu training for adults. Our robust schedule features 14 adult classes each week, offering a generous 14.5 hours of dedicated mat time, including our popular Friday Open Mat session. This extensive programme ensures our students in Orpington, Kent, have ample opportunity to refine their techniques and develop genuine competitive value. Our instruction is deeply rooted in the esteemed Checkmat World Champion lineage, guaranteeing access to proven methodologies and exceptional coaching. Membership for this comprehensive Jiu-Jitsu training is £90 per month. For those looking to further enhance their physical conditioning, full access to Amigos Gym's weight facilities is available as an optional add-on for an additional £25 per month.
Yes! While our BJJ classes run at specific scheduled times (including 10 AM morning classes on Tuesdays and Fridays, which many rival gyms lack), Checkmat Orpington is located inside Amigos Gym. Amigos Gym is open from 5 AM to 10 PM Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM on Saturdays, and 8 AM to 2 PM on Sundays. This means you can kill two birds with one stone: arrive early or stay late to use the extensive weights and cardio equipment before or after your BJJ session.
