Our next team grading takes place this Saturday 6th at Studio Martial Arts, the home of VN Team, with open mat sparring starting at 10:00 AM and the grading from 12:00 PM. Please note that all regular Saturday classes at Checkmat Orpington are cancelled for this day so our entire community can attend. Everyone is welcome to come down, roll, or support their teammates as they receive their new belts.
Event Schedule and Location
The day kicks off with an open mat sparring session at 10:00 AM, giving you a brilliant opportunity to get some rounds in with different training partners and experience styles you might not face every day. The formal grading begins at 12:00 PM and will run for a few hours. The event is being held at Studio Martial Arts, the home of VN Team. What to Expect on the Day
If you are feeling nervous about the grading, please do not worry. This is not a high-pressure test, but rather a celebration of your hard work and consistency on the mats. It is a fantastic community event where we bring the wider team together, share some tough rounds, and celebrate the progression of our members. Whether you are stepping up for promotion or just want to support your teammates, we want to see as many of you there as possible.
